The HP 6735s was certainly designed for general home and office users and those on a budget. Whilst you won’t get a super computer you will get a decent performance laptop that doesn’t cut any corners when it comes to features. In terms of specification of the HP 6735s you get a 2GHZ AMD X2 CPU (Dual Core) which packs a bit of a punch and although now it is quite out dated it can still offer good performance when it comes to basic multi tasking. Depending on the model you get you could start off with as little as 1GB of memory although this is upgradeable to four. Running basic office applications and web browsing doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem for the hp 6735s, however once you start opening those extra tabs in Internet Explorer and loading a few more programs the processor usage starts to shoot up. Whilst the performance at this point isn’t affected too much there is a more annoying problem; the processor fan.
